How plans renew, how to cancel, and how credits, upgrades and refunds work.
Automatic renewal
Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly as you chose, and charges the card on file the plan’s price plus any sales tax, until you cancel. The price, billing period and renewal terms are shown beside your consent before you pay, and confirmed by email afterwards.
Cancel online at any time
Cancel in Account → Billing → Cancel plan, at any time, without contacting anyone. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for and then stops; you will not be charged again.
Credits
- Each plan includes monthly credits: Plus 1,000, Pro 3,000, Max 10,000. On yearly plans they arrive monthly too.
- Plan credits reset each month and do not roll over.
- A top-up adds 500 credits for $10, usable for 12 months.
- To protect against runaway use, no account spends more than a quarter of its monthly credits in a day, and new accounts have a lower daily limit in their first week.
Changing plans
An upgrade charges the prorated difference straight away and raises your credits to the new allowance at once. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
Failed payments, refunds and disputes
If a renewal payment fails, it is retried on a schedule and no new credits arrive until it is paid. A refund removes that period’s unused credits. A card dispute suspends the account until it is resolved.
Notices
Yearly plans get an email reminder before each renewal. Outreason will email you between 7 and 30 days before any price change takes effect, with how to cancel.
